Automation Testing

Automation Testing

Automation testing is a sophisticated software testing method aimed at verifying and comparing actual outcomes with expected outcomes. It employs automation tools to script and execute test cases, eliminating the need for manual intervention during the execution of automated test suites. This approach is particularly beneficial for streamlining repetitive tasks and other testing activities that consume significant time when performed manually. Furthermore, automation testing plays a crucial role in assessing applications from load, performance, and stress perspectives.

Telcolab has developed its proprietary Automation Test tool, known as TATT, supported by a specialized team dedicated to its continual development and maintenance to align with evolving customer needs and technological advancements. While manual testing remains preferable in certain scenarios, some Quality Assurance (QA) tests prove too cumbersome or intricate for human testers to handle efficiently. This is where Telcolab’s automated testing tool, TATT, steps in, ensuring continuous execution of test scenarios alongside manual tests to ensure product quality and expedite product releases.

TATT can be utilized in both mobility and stationary testing environments, supporting a minimum version of Android Oreo 8.0. TATT offers a wide array of automation test features, including CALL, SMS, WI-FI connectivity, FTP (upload/download), web browsing, among others. Additionally, TATT provides essential RF condition information such as RSRP, RSRQ, PCI, MCC, MNC, among others. Upon completion of each test, TATT generates comprehensive test reports in Excel sheet format for detailed analysis.

Telcolab’s automation testing approaches, coupled with the functionality of TATT, ensure efficient and effective test automation processes, ultimately contributing to the delivery of superior quality products in a timely manner.
