2014/53/EU - RED

2014/53/EU – RED (Radio Equipment Directive) is a directive of the European Union concerning the placing on the market and putting into service of radio equipment. According to the aforementioned directive, radio equipment is defined as electrical or electronic products that intentionally emit or receive radio waves for radio communication or radio location purposes, or electrical or electronic products that need to be supplemented with additional components, such as an antenna, in order to intentionally emit or receive radio waves for radio communication or radio location.
